You're standing at the Oude Kerk, the oldest building in Amsterdam. Around you is the Oudekerksplein, right in the middle of the Red Light District. Look up at the tower first. It's seventy metres tall and got its elegant spire in the 1560s. Can you spot the little turret on top of the roof? Since 2006 it has held an Angelus bell again, a copy of the one that disappeared in 1566.
