Chinatown in Amsterdam

You're standing in Chinatown, Amsterdam's Chinese quarter. It wraps around the Zeedijk, the Geldersekade and the Nieuwmarkt square, right in the oldest part of the city centre. Have a look at the street signs. Since 2005, many of them show not just the Dutch name but also a translation in traditional Chinese characters. So the Zeedijk has a Chinese name too, and so do the Nieuwmarkt and the Geldersekade.
