Story · The Church of Domine Quo Vadis

You're standing at a small church on the Appian Way, about eight hundred metres outside the Porta San Sebastiano. Right here, the Via Ardeatina branches off the old Roman road. Its official name is Santa Maria in Palmis, but everyone calls it the Domine Quo Vadis church. And that name comes with a great story.
