You're standing at the Pyramid of Cestius, a genuine Roman pyramid right in the middle of Rome. It's close to the Porta San Paolo, on the Via Ostiensis. Notice how pointed it is. Much steeper than the famous pyramids of Giza. It's more than thirty metres tall. Underneath the white marble slabs is brick, on a travertine foundation.
