You're standing at Jaca Cathedral, dedicated to Saint Peter. It's the first Romanesque cathedral built in Aragon, and one of the oldest on the whole Iberian Peninsula. Take a good look at it. This isn't a church built in one go, but layers of centuries piled on top of each other. The core is Romanesque. Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque pieces were added later.
