Fort Kustbatterij bij Diemerdam in Diemen

You're standing at Fort Diemerdam, on the Diemerzeedijk in Diemen. Strictly speaking, you shouldn't call it a fort at all. That's just what locals named it. Officially it's the Coastal Battery at Diemerdam: an open position for guns, aimed at the water. That's why it looks different from the other forts around Amsterdam.
