You're standing at the Funkturm, Berlin's old radio tower, on the trade fair grounds in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. Look up along all that steel latticework. Remind you of anything? That's right, it looks a lot like the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Berliners fondly call it der lange Lulatsch, the lanky lad. It's a hundred and fifty metres tall and weighs around six hundred tonnes.
