You're standing at the Kunstgewerbemuseum, the Museum of Decorative Arts, on the Kulturforum along Potsdamer Straße in Berlin. Don't expect paintings on the walls here. This is a museum of beautiful everyday things: cups, furniture, clothing, tableware. Take a look at the building in front of you. It was designed by architect Rolf Gutbrod and opened in 1985. That's surprisingly young for a collection with such a long story.
