You're standing at the Jewish Museum Berlin, on Lindenstraße in Kreuzberg. It's the largest Jewish museum in Europe. Start by looking at the two buildings. One is a stately baroque building, the old Kollegienhaus. The other is a sharp zigzag, designed by the American architect Daniel Libeskind. Above ground they aren't connected at all. The only way into the new part is through a passage underground.
