You're standing on Askanischer Platz, in front of a lonely piece of façade that seems a little lost. Yet this is all that's left of the Anhalter Bahnhof, once the biggest railway station in Germany. Look up at the empty space above the entrance. That's where the station clock used to be. On either side sit two figures, Day and Night, by Ludwig Brunow. They're copies from 2004, because the originals had corroded too badly.
