You're standing at the Van Eesteren Museum, on the north side of the Sloterplas lake in Amsterdam's New West. Take a look at the pavilion. It's a rectangular building with lots of glass, larch wood supports and a mostly black exterior. On both sides the roof juts out. Plain and practical, exactly in the spirit of the man the museum is named after.
