Temple of Venus Genetrix in Rome

You're standing at the Forum of Caesar, right next to the Roman Forum. Look at those three tall white columns, still holding up a piece of beam between them. That's all that's left of the Temple of Venus Genetrix, once the showpiece of this square. The columns are almost thirteen metres tall, carved from Luna marble and topped with elegant Corinthian capitals.
