You're standing at the House on the Three Canals, at the southeastern end of Amsterdam's Wallen district. The name says it all. This house looks out over three canals at once: the Grimburgwal to the south, the Oudezijds Voorburgwal to the west and the Oudezijds Achterburgwal to the east. Take a look at the façades. Each canal gets its own stepped gable.
