You're standing on Emmaplein in the south of Amsterdam, in the Willemspark neighbourhood. In the middle is the monument to Queen Emma. Look at the top first. There sits the queen, calmly on her pedestal. The statue was made by sculptor Lambertus Zijl and unveiled in 1938.
