You're standing on the Straße des 17. Juni, right in the Tiergarten, in front of the Soviet War Memorial. Start in the middle. On top of a curved colonnade stands a huge statue of a Soviet soldier. His arm reaches out over the graves of more than two thousand fallen soldiers. So this isn't just a monument. It's a cemetery too.
