The story

You're standing at the Spring of Juturna, right in the middle of the Roman Forum. It may look modest, but this is one of the most legendary little corners of ancient Rome. Look at the almost square pool in front of you. It was once lined with marble. On the square platform in the middle stood statues of Castor and Pollux, the divine twins.
