You're standing on the Via del Corso, one of Rome's busiest shopping streets. Behind this long, stately façade lies the Palazzo Doria Pamphilj. Look left and right for a moment. The palace stretches all the way back to Via della Gatta, and it's probably the largest palace in Rome still in private hands. This street front was designed by Gabriele Valvassori. The little church right next to it is Santa Maria in Via Lata, and the family owns that too.
