You're standing at Gronsveld Castle, right in the middle of the village of Gronsveld in the far south of Limburg. Along the main road you first see the gatehouse with its tower. That dates from 1881, Gothic Revival with a few classical touches. Behind it is a castle that looks medieval, but mostly comes from the nineteenth century.
