You're standing at The Center Potsdamer Platz, known until March 2023 as the Sony Center. Step into the big oval square in the middle and look up. Above you hangs a huge roof of steel, glass and fabric, like an umbrella blown open. It's meant to evoke Mount Fuji, Japan's sacred mountain. A nod to Sony, which had its German headquarters here.
