You're standing on Rue Saint-Honoré, in front of the Church of Saint-Roch. It's dedicated to Saint Roch, the saint people prayed to for protection against the plague. Take a look at the façade. Down below you've got sturdy, plain Doric columns, and up top the fancier Corinthian ones. That's classic Baroque, with the Gesù in Rome as a distant model. Notice how neatly it lines up with the street? Churches usually face east to west. This one simply follows the street, north to south.
