You're standing at the Sainte-Chapelle, the Holy Chapel, on the Île de la Cité. From the outside it almost disappears among the big buildings of the Palace of Justice. That's no surprise: it was once part of the palace of the kings of France. Together with the Conciergerie, it's one of the few pieces of that palace still standing.
