You're standing at the Tower of the Winds, on the edge of the Roman Agora in Athens. Start with the shape. Eight equal sides of Pentelic marble, raised on three steps. The tower is twelve metres tall and has stood here for more than two thousand years. It's one of the best-preserved ancient buildings in the city.
