You're standing at the Oude Hortus in Utrecht, between the Lange Nieuwstraat and the Nieuwegracht canal. From 1723 to 1920 this was the botanical garden of Utrecht University. Today it's a museum garden, where one stroll takes you through three centuries of garden history.
