This first Dutch section of EuroVelo 2, the Capitals Route, is a cycle route of just over 148 km from Hoek van Holland to Amerongen. You ride through the dunes past The Hague and the Beelden aan Zee museum, via Meijendel and Boskoop to Woerden and its castle, past Kasteel de Haar to Utrecht, with the Dom Tower and the Centraal Museum, and via Slot Zeist and Leersum to Amerongen. In the Netherlands the route largely follows the LF4. Almost half is cycle path. We know of 23 toilets, 23 water taps and one bike pump along the way.
