This is the Dutch part of EuroVelo 2, the Capitals Route: a long-distance cycle route of almost 300 km from Hook of Holland to Zwilbroek on the German border. The full route covers about 5,000 km from Galway in Ireland to Moscow, visiting the capitals of seven countries. You ride through the dunes of Westland and Meijendel, through The Hague and via Boskoop, Bodegraven and Woerden to Utrecht. Then it crosses the Utrechtse Heuvelrug past Slot Zeist to Wageningen and Arnhem, and runs through the Achterhoek via Bronkhorst and Vorden to Eibergen. We know of 25 toilets, 33 water taps and one bike pump on the way.
