You're standing by De Inktpot, the Inkpot, on the Moreelsepark right next to Utrecht Central Station. Take a moment to let the size sink in. This is the largest brick building in the Netherlands, built from some twenty-two million bricks. The nickname comes from its shape, and in the end the nickname became its official name. Originally it had a much drier title: Head Administration Building Three of the Dutch Railways.
