Nationaal Militair Museum in Soest

You're standing at the National Military Museum in Soesterberg, on the grounds of the old air base. Take a look at the building. It's basically a huge flat box with a glass front thirteen metres high. Above it floats a roof measuring 110 by 250 metres, resting on a steel framework. More than three thousand solar panels on top supply roughly a quarter of the museum's energy. Measured by exhibition space, this is the largest museum building in the Netherlands.
