Soesterberg Air force Memorial

You're standing at the Soesterberg Airforce Memorial, a tribute to the forty years American servicemen lived and worked in Soesterberg during the Cold War. Fun fact: you're standing on top of a road. The N237 between Amersfoort and Utrecht runs through a tunnel beneath your feet, and on its roof sits a small park planted with the same plants you'd find on the air base, plus a play structure shaped like a plane.
