You're standing at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, or simply Sant Pau. Until 2009, these graceful buildings were a fully working hospital. It's the largest complex built in Catalan Art Nouveau, known here as modernisme. In 1997, together with the Palau de la Música Catalana, it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
