Story · Cosmocaixa

You're standing at CosmoCaixa, Barcelona's science museum. It used to go by a plainer name: the Science Museum of Barcelona. Start by looking at the old façade. It's more than a century old. Between 1904 and 1909, architect Josep Domènech i Estapà built an asylum for the blind here. It stayed open until 1979. After that, the building got a completely new life.
