Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor in Barcelona

You're standing at the very top of Tibidabo, the mountain above Barcelona, in front of the Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor. Start by looking at how it's stacked. At the bottom sits a sturdy, Romanesque-style fortress built from Montjuïc stone. That's the crypt. On top of it rises a tall neo-Gothic church, reached by two grand outdoor staircases. And crowning the dome is a huge bronze statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
