You're standing on London's South Bank, by the Thames, at County Hall. Inside this grand building is the London Dungeon, a horror attraction that brings the city's darkest moments back to life. First, take a look at the building itself. It was designed by architect Ralph Knott, and you can spot the influence of Baroque art. Now turn around and look across the water. Those are the Houses of Parliament, the very buildings Guy Fawkes tried to blow up with gunpowder in 1605. Fitting neighbours for a place all about plots and punishments, don't you think?
