The Shard in Southwark

You're standing at the foot of The Shard, at just over three hundred and nine metres the tallest building in the United Kingdom. Tilt your head right back. The tower rises like a slender, irregular pyramid, clad entirely in glass. Notice how the glass reflects the sky. That was the whole idea: the building was meant to look different with every change of weather and season. There are around eleven thousand panes of glass up there.
