The story

You're standing in Trafalgar Square, one of the best known squares in London. Right in the middle rises Nelson's Column, 52 metres tall. At the very top stands Admiral Horatio Nelson. In 1805, off Cape Trafalgar on the Spanish coast, he defeated the fleets of France and Spain, and was killed in the battle himself. The square is named after that victory.
