You're standing on Marylebone Road in London, outside Madame Tussauds, the most famous wax museum in the world. This building opened on the 14th of July 1884. Before that, the museum was just round the corner on Baker Street. That site became too cramped and too expensive, so the founder's grandson, Joseph Randall, had new galleries built here.
