You're standing outside the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington, better known as the V&A. It's the world's largest museum of applied art and design, with more than 2.8 million objects. Take a look at that long façade of red brick and pale Portland stone. It runs for 720 feet and was built between 1899 and 1909 to a design by Aston Webb.
