You're standing at the National Theatre, on the South Bank of the Thames, right next to the Southbank Centre. Take a close look at the concrete. In many places you can see the grain of wooden planks. The concrete was poured into moulds made from rough boards, and the imprint of the wood was left on show, inside and out.
