You're standing at Horse Guards, on Whitehall in London. First, look at the two riders in their sentry boxes by the gate. They're soldiers of the King's Life Guard. From ten in the morning until four in the afternoon they sit here on horseback, and they're swapped every hour. Red tunic and white plume? That's a Life Guard. Blue tunic with a red plume means the Blues and Royals.
