You're standing on Karlsplatz in Vienna, in front of the Karlskirche. Quite a façade, isn't it? In the middle there's a porch like a Greek temple, on either side a huge column, and above it all a great dome. Architect Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach deliberately mixed all sorts of styles here. You can spot echoes of both Rome and Constantinople.
