You're standing at the Votivkirche, the Votive Church, in Vienna. Look up at those two slender towers. They're 99 metres tall, and only the tower of St. Stephen's Cathedral rises higher in Vienna. With its white sandstone and patterned roof tiles, tourists often mistake this church for St. Stephen's. Yet the two are more than 700 years apart in age. This one is neo-Gothic, built in the nineteenth century.
