You're standing in front of the Heeresgeschichtliches Museum in Vienna, Austria's Museum of Military History. Start with the façade. It's two hundred and thirty-five metres long, with corner towers and a dome in the middle. The Danish architect Theophil Hansen took the old Arsenal of Venice as his model and blended Byzantine and Gothic forms. Notice the two-tone brickwork and the terracotta decorations.
