Ruins in Tower Hamlets

You're standing at the eastern end of the old city wall of London, the London Wall, by the Tower of London. This is where the eastern stretch of the wall began. Inside the Tower grounds you can still see remains, and a line in the paths shows where the wall ran before most of it was demolished to make room for the expanding fortress.
