You're standing at Eltham Palace, in southeast London. What you're looking at is a surprising pair. On one side there's a medieval hall from around 1479, the Great Hall. Attached to it is a house from the 1930s, built in a traditional style inspired by Christopher Wren. Take a look at the moat too. The stone bridge across it still dates from the fifteenth century.
