Castle Huize Retersbeek in Voerendaal

You're standing at the Klimmender Huuske, a manor house surrounded by a moat, in the hamlet of Retersbeek, just north of the village of Klimmen. The house goes by a whole string of names. People also call it Gen Huuske, 't Huuske, Huiskenshof or Huize Retersbeek. The water in the moat comes from the Retersbeek, the little stream the hamlet is named after.
