Castle Hoeve Overhuizen in Simpelveld

You're standing at Hoeve Overhuizen, on the eastern edge of the village of Bocholtz. The German border is just around the corner, which is why the farm also goes by its German name, Oberhausen. This is a classic South Limburg courtyard farm. The buildings form a closed square around a central yard, and nearly all of it is built from limestone, with a few touches of brick.
