You're standing at the monument to Queen Emma in Baarn, close to the Emma bridge. Look up at the tall pedestal. On top, the queen regent is out for a stroll, a parasol in one hand and a book in the other. Possibly a psalm book, though nobody knows for sure. The statue was made by sculptor Gerrit Jan van der Veen, commissioned by the Royal House. The street it stands on even carries his name.
