Castle Trompenburgh in Wijdemeren

You're standing at Trompenburgh, a country house in 's-Graveland. Take a good look at its shape. The house sits almost entirely in the water and was built to look like a ship. Even the roof is shaped like a ship's deck, complete with railings. From up there you could once see all the way to the Zuiderzee. On a clear day you could spot Utrecht's cathedral tower, Muiden Castle and the church spires of Amsterdam.
