You're standing at the Sakıp Sabancı Museum in Istanbul, a private art museum inside an old summer mansion. First, look just inside the entrance gate. There's a bronze horse standing there. It was designed in Paris in 1864 by Louis-Joseph Daumas. Hacı Ömer Sabancı, founder of the Sabancı business group, bought it at an auction and placed it here. Ever since, people have called this house Atlı Köşk, the Equestrian Villa.
