Nuruosmaniye Mosque in Fatih

You're standing at the Nuruosmaniye Mosque, in the bustle of the old city, right across the street from one of the entrances to the Grand Bazaar. Start by looking at the shapes. You'll hardly find a straight line anywhere: arches, windows and doorways curl and swell. That's Baroque, and this mosque was the first major Ottoman building in that new style, inspired by Europe.
