Museum Masumiyet Müzesi in Beyoğlu

You're standing in Çukurcuma, a little neighbourhood in Beyoğlu, at the Museum of Innocence. Look at the house on the corner of Çukurcuma Sokağı and Dalgıç Sokağı. It's a nineteenth-century wooden house. Nothing about it shouts award-winning museum, and that fits rather well. Have a look around you too. These narrow streets are known for their old antique shops, and shops just like these are where many of the things inside were found.
